The Sheriff’s Auxiliary offers house watch services throughout most of Navajo County.

Our volunteers utilize marked Sheriff’s Department Auxiliary vehicles and are in full uniform while on house watch patrol. Our goal is to provide a law enforcement presence in the neighborhoods and provide you with peace of mind.

The Navajo County Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers will periodically walk around your home looking for broken windows, doors ajar, any recent signs of damage or vandalism, signs of water leaks and anything out of the ordinary.

When the inspection is complete, we send you a report indicating the date of inspection, time, officer’s badge number and any comments the officer may make about his/her inspection of your property.

The Sheriff’s Auxiliary has been providing house watch services ever since we were organized. The Navajo County Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers are proud to have over 450 private homes, HOAs and several businesses on its list of customers for house watches.

The House Watch Program is available throughout Navajo County. Information is available through this website, the Sheriff’s Office, all deputies and the SAV Facebook page.

The Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers of Navajo County is a 501(c)(3) organization relying on donations to operate. We have 4 units throughout Navajo county with about 50 dedicated officers who have completed a special volunteer training academy sponsored by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office.
