Peace of mind while you're away from home
The Sheriff's Auxiliary offers house watch services in selected areas of Navajo County. Uniformed volunteers in marked Auxiliary vehicles periodically check on your property and send you a written inspection report.
How house watch works
Marked patrol presence
Our volunteers utilize marked Sheriff's Department Auxiliary vehicles and are in full uniform while on house watch patrol — providing a law-enforcement presence in your neighborhood and peace of mind.
Property walk-around
We periodically walk around your home looking for broken windows, doors ajar, recent signs of damage or vandalism, signs of water leaks, and anything out of the ordinary.
Inspection report
When the inspection is complete, we send you a report indicating the date of inspection, time, officer's badge number, and any comments the officer makes about the property.

The program is available in selected sections of Navajo County. We've provided house watch services since the Auxiliary was organized and currently serve over 450 homes, HOAs, and businesses.
